ºìÌÒÊÓƵ’ campus is a walkable 8.25 acres and is located in the heart of Des Moines, Iowa, just south of I-235 spanning between 5th Avenue and 7th Street. Parking is free on campus.

Building Access
Visitors to ºìÌÒÊÓƵ are expected to present themselves to the College receptionist located on the main level of the Sullivan Center during normal business hours (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Visitors are generally greeted by a member of the College community and escorted to their destination on campus. Other buildings on the main campus are locked and accessible only with a College-issued student or employee badge to enhance security.
Access to all campus buildings is restricted to security badge holders every day after 4:30 pm. Student access to the campus on weekends is limited to the hours that the College Library is open to the public.
Campus buildings are accessible during the following times:
- Monday – Thursday
- 5:30 a.m. – 10:05 p.m. (Employee)
- 6:15 a.m. – 10:05 p.m. (Student)
- Friday
- 5:30 a.m. – 8:05 p.m. (Employee)
- 6:15Â a.m. – 8:05 p.m. (Student)
- Saturday
- 7:30Â a.m. – 2:35 p.m.
- Sunday
- 12:30 p.m. – 7:35 p.m.
Campus Security
The safety of our students, faculty, and staff is our #1 priority at ºìÌÒÊÓƵ. In addition to our badge-access entries and surveillance protocols, the campus is patrolled by a security officer during the following times:
- Monday – Thursday
- 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Friday
- 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday
- 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Sunday
- 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

PARKING
Parking on surface lots identified as Sullivan Center North and Sullivan Center South is free and open to all students, employees, and ºìÌÒÊÓƵ invited guests 24/7/365. The surface lot identified as the Crocker Lot is also free and available to all students, employees, and ºìÌÒÊÓƵ invited guests, however if the parking gates at the Crocker are down, you must have an employee or student badge to enter.
There are eight visitor parking spots outside the Admissions Office at ACE/College Hill. These spots are available to College guests seeking enrollment assistance. Enrolled students are not guests and should not use these spots or any other parking spot at ACE/College Hill. Parking at ACE/College Hill is reserved for College Hill residential tenants and employees with offices or teaching responsibilities in ACE/College Hill who have a College Hill parking sticker adhered to their car window. If you park at ACE/College Hill without a College Hill parking sticker and your vehicle is towed, you will be personally responsible for all towing and impound fees.
If you use a spot marked for handicapped persons at any lot described or shown above without the proper state-issued permit, the Des Moines Police Department will be contacted which will result in fines and towing costs imposed on the vehicle owner.
