Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Provider Course
This course will enhance your skills in the treatment of arrest and peri-arrest patients through active participation in a series of simulated cardiopulmonary cases.
OBJECTIVES
- Recognize and initiate early management of peri-arrest conditions that may result in cardiac arrest or complicate resuscitation outcome.
- Demonstrate proficiency in providing basic life support (BLS) care including prioritizing chest compressions and integrating automated external defibrillator (AED) use.
- Manage cardiac arrest until return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC), termination of resuscitation, or transfer of care.
Attendance of the entire program is required for course completion.

ACLS PROVIDER RENEWAL COURSE
ACLS Provider Renewal Course must be completed within 24 months of your previous ACLS Provider Course. This eight-hour renewal course provides a review of previous course material and verification of your skills and knowledge.
